Course Duration
Level 1

The subjects are same as CBA and will be delivered over 200 hours of lecture and over 100 hours of practical training.

Level 2

Industrial Training: 12 Months

With classroom training on 2 designated Saturdays in a month

Total Course duration: Varies from 15-18 months

A trainee up on completing level 1 and getting certified as CBA has to pursue industrial training for a period of 12 months with any of the empanelled employers being.

Stipend during Industrial Training

In order to support the trainees cost of travelling and basic expense, trainees shall be paid by the empanelled employers a nominal stipend as per schedule below

The trainings pedagogy is designed to replicate what a trainee will learn on the job. After refreshing the fundamental knowledge for the trainees in core subjects which an accountant is expected to know, the trainees will move on to application of this knowledge with three entities - a trading concern, a manufacturing unit and a service provider. They prepare vouchers, invoices, bills etc and record the transaction manually in phase 1 and subsequently in an ERP.

The kits and case studies are designed to replicate on the job learning. The training is imparted by faculty with experience in the field.

A trainee up on completing level 1 will have to undergo on the job industrial training with empanelled entities. During this period Level 2 can be pursued on 2 designated Saturdays of the month. On the job industrial exposure will open up the trainee to practical challenges in the industry and with the scheduled training in the some advanced practical subjects by industrial experts will help groom them in to value added finance professionals.

Examination

Level 1: Up on obtaining the training completion certificate from ALP.

Level 2: After completing 12 months Industrial Training and obtaining the certificate from Empanelled Entities.

Maximum Eligible Attempts: 2 attempts for each level

Examination Fees: Rs.2,000/- for each level

Pass Marks

A trainee is certified if he scores at least 60% marks in the examination.

Certification
A trainee will be certified as ACBA up on:

Qualifying ACBA Level 1 Exams

Completion of 12 months training

Completion of ACBA Level 2 Exams

An ACBA is equipped with much needed skills required for handling finance portfolio of an organization. He has the prospect of entering the organizational ladder at a much higher level when compared with a untrained commerce graduates.
